The School of Shamanic Womancraft is offering Praxis : Shamanic Womancraft practitioner training.
Provided for graduates of the school to deepen into the work and continue training.
Why Praxis?
Praxis is a program that will train you in the modality of Shamanic Womancraft, deepening your knowledge and increasing your skills to be able to work 1:1 with people across all ages and genders.
Taught by Jane Hardwicke Collings over 1 year limited to 20 places.
What happens at Praxis?
ONLINE COMPONENT
Your online course will have a variety of pre-readings to complete before and after the residential camps and course work to do.
RESIDENTIAL CAMP ONE
Residential teaching program where you will deepen your understanding and use of the modality.
You will make a Vegan drum to further your drum making skills.
RESIDENTIAL CAMP TWO
Residential teaching program with more opportunity to practice the modality, learn songs make a rattle and deepen your practice.
1:1 SESSIONS
Partnered with other students to practice and support one another.
PRACTICE SESSIONS
You will be required to do a number of 1:1 practice sessions with people and present these as part of your assessment.
ASSESSMENT
Full assessment will be undertaken to graduate.
What will I be able to do?
- Birth Imprint Analysis
- Red Thread Healing
- Sacred Wound – default behaviours and superpowers
- Rites of Passage – patters, set up and healing
- Archetypal work
What does a 1:1 session look like?
Private 1:1 sessions can be done in person or online and can be done as their own session or the skills can be added to other modalities such as coaching.

FAQs
What does the course cover?
Praxis covers all tuition, course work, readings, 1:1 practice sessions, camping catering for the year.
It focuses on teaching the modality of Shamanic Womancraft as applied to 1:1 sessions.
When does it start?
Praxis begins its third round of trainings in 2025 with 2 Residential programs in September and November.
Is this the same as the Apprentice Program?
No. The 4SJ Apprentice program is geared toward teaching the 4SJ program, or teaching you the skills to run retreat style or group programs of your own design.
Praxis focuses on the modality in a 1:1 setting and training you to excel in its application.
It is compulsory for all Teachers and Apprentices to have Praxis training.
How many hours per week is the course?
We recommend that you give yourself approximately 5 hours per week to work through the content.
What if I need emotional support?
You will have a buddy to work with for support and you also have support with JHC over the year.
Will you be offering more courses for graduates?
We are growing our library of online courses and there is always more in the dreaming.
I'm a 4SJ apprentice, should I do Praxis?
Yes. Praxis can be seen as developing your skills to be better able to hold the women on the Four Seasons Journey.
Will Praxis become compulsory?
Praxis will be a compulsory part of the Four Seasons Journey Teacher training pathway from 2024. It will be encouraged to do before starting your apprenticeship, but will be able to be undertaken at any point of your apprenticeship.
